چکیده
Objective: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relation between the dose of tumor cel[ inoculation (especiatly the doses tess than minimum required to evoke tumor growth) itnd the anti-tumor immune system, particularty lymphoblast format;on and cytotoxic actiyity of lyrnphcytes. Method: We inoculated rats with various doses of SSTL2 tumor cells and examined naturaE kitter (NK) cell activity and lymphoblast formation in vitro. Result: The results showed that the cytotoxicities against SSTL2 celts and lymphoblast fonmation of lymphocytes were enhanced by small dose inoculation of tumor cells that could not induce tumor grewth. Conclusion: It was suggested that was lymphocutes play an important role as an anti-tumor immune system at smal) doses of tumor inoculation, which appears to reflect an early stage of tumor growth in vivo. It was also suggested that SS[[L2 tumer inecutation might be a useful model for stLgdying the anti-tumor immune response in SHR rats.

Triple tandem mimotope peptide of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor displaying on the surface of M13 phage induces anti-tumor response in mice tumor model
Introduction: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) has been shown to play a critical role in tumor cell growth and its overexpression has been observed in many epithelial tumors. In the field of cancer vaccine research, displaying the peptide mimotope on the surface of phage particles has shown promising results. Methods: In this study using m13-PVIII phage display system, two constructs we...
متن کاملEffects of Enoxaparin Emulsion on Dimethylbenzanthracene-induced Breast Cancer in Female Rats
Background : Enoxaparin is an anticoagulant medication. Anticoagulation inhibits tumor cell–mediated release of angiogenic proteins and diminishes angiogenic response. Angiogenesis is an important event in various cancers such as breast cancer. Angiogenesis provide oxygen and nutrients to tumor cells and causes tumor progression. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the anti-angio...
متن کاملPreparation and in vivo anti-tumor evaluation of human papillomavirus E7 adjuvanted with Montanide ISA 266 as a vaccine candidate
Introduction: Human papillomavirus (HPV) 16 E7 protein is expressed constitutively by HPV-infected tumor cells. Mutant versions of E7 are considered as safer candidates for immunotherapy of cervical cancer. Different strategies including formulation with adjuvants are used to induce a potent immune response against antigenic proteins. Methods: In this experimental study, we used Escherichia co...
متن کاملEvaluation of Pain Tolerance Threshold Following Anti TNF-α after Induction REM Sleep Deprivation in a Male Wistar Rat Model (In press)
Background and Aim: Tumor Necrose Factor-alpha (TNF-α) changes by REM sleep deprivation. Some believe that TNF-α is a biomarker in the deprivation of REM sleep. The patients with insomnia could be better after using Anti TNF-α or Infliximab (IFX), on the other hand, IFX effects on Patient Tolerance Threshold (PTT). Trying to manage the hospital inpatients’ pain is one of the common aims special...
متن کاملEffect of Honey Bee Venom on Lewis Rats with Experimental Allergic Encephalomyelitis, a Model for Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a progressive and autoimmune neurodegenerative disease of the central nervous system (CNS). This disease is recognized through symptoms like inflammation, demyelination and the destruction of neurological actions. Experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) is a widely accepted animal model for MS. EAE is created in animals by injecting the tissue of myelin basic...
